Business and Technical Metadata Tools

We are currently using E/R Studio to store and browse our metadata repository and to tag our meta objects.     We are interested in moving into the Wiki space.  Any advice?

Where are you currently persisting your data into?
Do you need a structured data source such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc?

The reason we posted this application is because we wanted to give developers another way of looking at persisting data using "cloud" designs. I go into it a bit more in our company blog. Here is the link:

Web Survey Application using Wiki as Cloud

I would look at using the wiki as a working repository .... meaning that you can post your ERDs as images on the wiki and as you're working on the project, use the web survey application as a way of standardizing content areas for each model (e.g. usage, etc.) and host your conversations around the model on the wiki. I'm happy to discuss through email on ways that we've leveraged this work to maintain both our UML and ERD artifacts online and enhanced our team collaboration accordingly.
